July, 21 1997 - Around Mérida

Much of Monday is a haze. I think we were both tired from the previous day's travels and took it easy (which is why there are only two images below). I do know that we exchanged our US dollars for Pesos and did the bulk of our gift and souvenir shopping. We probably paid too much for everything.

Later in the afternoon we retired to the pool in our hotel.
