July, 22 1997 - Dzilbiltchun, Progresso

Matthew's birtday. We headed stright north to the beach (Progresso) on the southern end of the Gulf of Mexico. On the way there we stopped by Dzilbiltchun, a small Mayan ruin. It was pretty amazing.

Take note of the skies - the pictures don't do a good job but I have never seen such clear blue skys in my entire life.
